GOAL 13: MISSION
At Goal 13, we empower student-athletes to excel beyond the field by fostering a holistic approach to their development. Our mission is to cultivate an environment where education, positive mindset, and physical well-being converge, equipping young athletes with the tools they need to thrive not only in sports but in life. Through mentorship, coursework, resources, and support, we strive to inspire resilience, academic achievement, and lifelong healthy habits, enabling each student-athlete to excel, grow, and realize their full potential.
Support Student-Athletes in Need
Goal 13 is proud to partner with Carolina Core Football Club Academy, a fully funded program for U13 and U14 players, aiming to break down the financial barriers typically associated with high-level youth soccer and provide young players with an unprecedented opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Carolina Core nominates select Academy players for enrollment in each season’s Goal 13 team of mentees.

Holden Trent, 25, of Greensboro, passed away on October 26, 2024 surrounded by close family and friends, his fiancé Brie Losito, and a village of soccer teammates and coaches that supported him throughout his career. Holden made the courageous decision to be an organ donor, and we celebrate that his life will live on through the numerous recipients whose miracles are being granted through his selflessness…
